About "What If" Resources

"What If" Resources, is a website that is a division of J.I.C. Prep., LLC. (which, in part, is an abbreviation for "Just In Case Preparedness".) This website was designed to provide a compilation of Wilderness Survival, Bushcraft, and Prepper resources which include, but are not limited to, Information, Training, Gear, and Product Reviews.

A variety of informational resources are available to visitors such as, self authored (and copyrighted) Blogs and Articles (our Blogs and Articles are written by out team and ARE NOT generated by A.I. like some other websites are), links to videos, as well as an opportunistic platform for people that are new to one of our three disciplines or, new to a skill set within a discipline, to ask a question, and receive knowledgeable feedback from someone with education/experience within the subject matter in question. This platform not only provides information but, it also promotes each discipline to engage and interact in a "community environment". Sharing views and potentially creating additional interests from one discipline to the others.

We hope to soon be providing access to an abundance of physical resources as well, through an Affiliate Market, which will offer gear and training courses from across the industry. We will not deliver, refund, nor return, however, our affiliates may. Please check with the appropriate affiliate providing the product(s) that you may soon be ordering, for their associated "Terms and Conditions", "Refunds and Returns", as well as "Deliveries".

Our hope is that by consolidating as much information, gear, and training, that we can, into one "Site", in an organized format, that this will allow these resources to be accessible in a more efficient and extensive manner.

Meet the founder

I have enjoyed the great outdoors for most of my life. I've spent a significant amount of time near the Ozark Mountains, in the Midwestern Plains, around the arid regions of Nevada and New Mexico, as well as some of the Southeastern Swamplands and, I currently reside near the base of the Rocky Mountains. I, like most of you, have researched books, magazines, videos, and blogs, trying to ensure my safety while experiencing places where few people venture. I try to initially practice various techniques in controlled environments, such as my garage or back yard, and eventually employ them in the wilderness, within a Bushcraft setting, where I try to perfect them into skills, BEFORE they are needed in an emergency situation. I have found myself frustrated on many occasions, trying to experiment with some of these techniques and realizing that the information that I had gained was limited, or incomplete. I then needed to spend more precious time doing more research, as opposed to spending that time practicing. I have also found myself with inferior products that, when utilized "in the field", did not perform as advertised, or simply failed under strenuous usage. It is my goal to currently present to you a more complete and organized format of written and videoed information, as well as future access to quality affiliated gear and training courses. Hopefully, none of us will find ourselves in an emergency situation but, I hope that you will take the time to hone your knowledge, in combination with GOOD/SOLID gear, into skills that could have the potential of saving your life someday. There is certainly no substitute for practice!!

Although a large amount of my recreational time has been spent in Wilderness and Bushcraft environments, the vast majority of my "work life" has been spent in urban environments. It's not uncommon for me to

witness the struggles that our society frequently endures. I sometimes see circumstances that force more and more people to make desperate decisions. I oftentimes think to myself, "If this is what it's like on a regular 'day to day' basis, what would it evolve into if something catastrophic were to happen like, a Government Meltdown or a worldwide natural disaster?". I, like many of you, subscribe to the practice of Prepping. There are a lot of quality resources available to anyone who has the desire to engage in this concept. I have scrolled through countless hours of research regarding various "professionals" opinions and strategies. It is my objective of this website to currently provide Preppers with the same abundance of engaging information, and future access to quality affiliate products, as we provide for Wilderness Survivalist and Bushcrafters.

The great outdoors is a majestic place that offers positive memories that can last a lifetime. However, just like urban environments, it can also present elements of danger, and risks of negative situations/circumstances that may have to be endured. My hopes are that this website will help you stay knowledgeable, stay prepared, stay safe, and stay alive!!
